Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

Last updated: August 2026

McNeal Technical Solutions Group, trading through MTSG Electrical Contractors and MTSG Integrated Systems, is committed to providing a professional working environment where everyone is treated fairly, respectfully and without unlawful discrimination.

This policy applies to all employees, workers, subcontractors and anyone representing our business across domestic properties, commercial premises, industrial sites and other project locations. It reflects our approach to equality in line with the Equality Act 2010 and applicable UK legislation.

MTSG Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

1. Equal Opportunity in Employment and Engagement

We are committed to ensuring that job applicants, employees, workers and subcontractors are treated equally and without unlawful discrimination. Decisions relating to recruitment, employment, training, career progression, task allocation and subcontracting are made based on relevant skills, qualifications, experience, conduct and business requirements.

2. Protected Characteristics

We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying or victimisation based on any of the protected characteristics defined under the Equality Act 2010, which are:

  • Age
  • Disability
  • Gender reassignment
  • Marriage and civil partnership
  • Pregnancy and maternity
  • Race
  • Religion or belief
  • Sex
  • Sexual orientation

3. Workplace and Site Conduct

We aim to maintain a working environment free from intimidation, hostility and harassment. Everyone representing MTSG is expected to maintain professional standards of behaviour.

Any form of unlawful discrimination, bullying or harassment on client sites, in company vehicles or during work-related activities is unacceptable. Serious breaches of this policy may result in appropriate disciplinary or contractual action.

4. Suppliers and Subcontractors

We expect our suppliers, independent contractors and business partners to maintain professional standards and respect equal opportunities in their own operations.

We reserve the right to review our working arrangements with any supplier or subcontractor whose conduct or practices fall below acceptable standards or breach applicable equality requirements.

5. Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness any behaviour that you believe breaches this policy, you should raise the matter with company management.

Concerns will be handled sensitively and, where appropriate, investigated fairly and impartially. Individuals who raise genuine concerns will not be victimised or treated unfavourably for doing so.
