Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
McNeal Technical Solutions Group, through MTSG Electrical Contractors and MTSG Integrated Systems, provides electrical, fire detection and suppression, security, CCTV, access control, data cabling and networking, infrastructure and integrated systems services to domestic, commercial, industrial and other clients.
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and, where applicable, the provision of our services. Specific projects, installations or call-outs may also be subject to the terms and specifications stated in the relevant quotation, order, contract or other written agreement.
1. Quotations and Pricing
Quotations are provided based on the information available to us at the time of preparation and relate specifically to the scope of work outlined within the quotation document.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, quotations remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
A quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order until confirmed by MTSG.
Prices may be subject to adjustment where there are changes to the agreed scope of work, site conditions, technical specifications, material costs or other circumstances that could not reasonably have been anticipated when the quotation was prepared.
Any additional works or variations requested by the client, or reasonably required due to conditions not apparent when the quotation was prepared, will be discussed and agreed where practicable before any extra work is carried out.
Where a project is subject to a separate written contract, purchase order or agreed terms, those specific project terms will take precedence where applicable.
2. Provision of Services
MTSG will carry out agreed works with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the standards and requirements applicable to the specific service being provided.
Where relevant, works will be carried out in line with applicable legislation, regulations, industry standards and the installation guidelines of relevant manufacturers or systems.
The exact scope of work, technical specifications, equipment supplied and installation requirements will depend on the individual project and will be detailed in your quotation, contract or written agreement.
3. Site Access and Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, premises and specific work areas required for our engineers or technicians to complete the agreed tasks.
The client should provide accurate information regarding the property, existing site infrastructure, hazards and any known restrictions that may impact the work.
If unforeseen site conditions or hidden issues are discovered during the course of work, MTSG will discuss any necessary adjustments to the scope, cost or timescale with the client as soon as reasonably practicable.
4. Variations and Additional Work
Alterations to the agreed scope of work may affect the final cost of the project and the estimated completion timescale.
Additional works or project variations will normally be agreed with the client prior to being undertaken.
Where urgent action is reasonably necessary to protect site safety, prevent property damage or maintain the operational integrity of an installation, MTSG may take appropriate steps and will discuss the resulting work and associated costs with the client at the earliest opportunity.
5. Payment
Payment terms, deposit requirements and invoicing schedules will be set out on the relevant quotation, invoice or contract.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within the payment period stated on the invoice.
MTSG reserves the right to suspend further works or services if invoices remain unpaid after the agreed payment period, subject to any applicable legal or contractual requirements.
